The Armed Forces of Ukraine are the military forces of Ukraine. They consist of the three branches: the Ground Forces, the Air Force and the Navy, and a number of separately organized forces and specialized support commands: the Air Assault Forces, the Marine Corps, the Special Operations Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Territorial Defence Forces, the Medical Forces, Support Forces, Logistics Forces and the Communications and Cybersecurity Troops. Ukraine's navy includes its own Naval Aviation, and the National Guard serves as a paramilitary reserve component of the Armed Forces. With a total strength of 4.9 million, the AFU is the fifth largest armed force in the world.
