Graeme Dott is a Scottish former professional snooker player from Glasgow. He turned professional in 1994, first entered the top 16 in 2001, and reached his first world final at the 2004 World Championship, losing 8β18 to Ronnie O'Sullivan. Two years later, he defeated Peter Ebdon 18β14 in the final of the 2006 World Championship, winning his first world title and first ranking title. He claimed his second ranking title at the 2007 China Open, defeating Jamie Cope 9β5 in the final, and reached his career highest ranking of second in the 2007β08 rankings.
