She achieved a career-high WTA singles ranking of world No. 29 on March 16, 2026, making her the highest-ranked Filipino in WTA Tour history. Eala is the first Filipino to break into the WTA top 30, have multiple wins over top-10 players and major champions, and reach a tour-level final in the Open Era.
